Rava-dosa made from Hi-Life Sooji

Family Favourite Atta | 1 tbsp |
Curd | 1 cup |
salt | 1 tsp |

sarso | 1 tsp |
Channa Dal | 1 tbsp |
Curry Leaves | 10-15 |
Ginger | 1 small piece |
Onion | 2 |
Potato | 5 |
Red chilly powder | 1 tsp |
Turmeric powder | 1 tsp |
Fresh coriander leaves | 2 tbsp |
Baking soda | 1/4 tsp |
Step by Step Recipe
- Take a frying pan and one tbsp of oil. Once hot add mustard seeds, channa dal, ginger, onion, curry leaves and toss over medium flame for 2-3 mins.
- Add boiled potatoes to the pan and heat on a low flame for 5 mins.
- Add chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt. Add coriander leaves once the mixture is cooked and set aside.
- Mix Hi-Life Sooji, Family Favorite atta and besan in a mixer for a minute.
- Take the extract in a bowl and add to it salt, curd and stir well. Leave it for 10 mins.
- Add water to make consistency as required and add baking soda. Stir well.
- Heat oil on a flat-bottomed non-stick frying pan.
- Pour a ladleful of batter on the pan and spread evenly. Ensure that the flame is medium to avoid over cooking.
- Add oil towards the margin for an even cooking and heat till golden brown.
- Spread the potato filling in the center and wrap the dosa around it.
- Serve it with Chutney, sambhar or ketchup.
