Vegetable Dalia made from Hi-Life Dalia

Dalia | 1 cup |
Onion | 1 |
Ginger | 1 small piece |
Tomato | 1 |
Carrot | 1 |
Bottle guard | 1/2 piece |
Green peas | 1/2 cup |
Water | 4 cup |
Cumin seeds | 1 tsp |
Oil | 1 tbsp |
Salt | As per taste |
Step by Step Recipe
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
- Splutter the cumin in the hot oil.
- Add chopped onions and sauté till they become golden.
- Add chopped ginger, green chilies and sauté for 1-2 mins.
- Add chopped tomato and sauté for 2 minute.
- Add all the remaining vegetables and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Rinse the dalia and add to the pressure cooker.
- Stir for 2-3 mins.
- Add water and salt.
- Pressure cook for 7-8 whistles till the dalia is cooked well.
- Garnish vegetable dalia with coriander leaves and serve hot with a teaspoon of ghee added.
